Tony has worked for 24 years as a public relations counselor and copywriter at renowned PR and advertising agencies in New York City, Phoenix, and Boise, serving such major corporate clients as Anheuser-Busch, Catholic Health Initiatives, Extended Systems, First Interstate Bank, Genentech, Hewlett Packard, the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, Idaho Power, J.R. Simplot Company, MPC Computers, The NutraSweet Company, Ore-Ida Foods, St. Luke’s Regional Medical Center, Trus Joist Corporation, and the regional public transportation authorities for Phoenix and Idaho’s Treasure Valley.
Ken Stoltz and Tony go way back. Born and raised in Boise, Tony moved back home in 1989 when Ken hired him as the agency’s first director of public relations. Two decades later he is thrilled to join Ken’s team once again and help the agency garner great PR results for its clients.
Tony’s corporate PR work has received numerous awards, chief among them two Public Relations Society of America Anvil Awards — the highest award PR tools like press kits, speeches, and brochures can earn — for a traditional press kit and an interactive CD-ROM-based press kit. In addition, a month-long clean-air campaign he helped conceive and execute called May in Motion earned top honors in the American Public Transportation Association’s 2004 AdWheel competition. Tony’s work also has garnered two Gold Rockies from the Idaho Advertising Federation — one for a press kit and another for a sales promotion kit — and he was named Outstanding Professional Advisor from Public Relations Student Society of America’s Midwest District.
